Representatives of Federal Mass Media Got Familiar with Okhta Center Project
On 9th June a presentation of a public and business area Okhta Center was held for representatives of federal mass media in Moscow. The event was attended by reporters of the leading public and political business mass media.

The meeting was attended by ODC Okhta JSC Executive Director Alexander Bobkov, Coordinator for Communication Projects of Gazprom Neft JSC in Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast’ Vladimir Gronsky, Okhta Center Project Chief Architect Philipp Nikandrov.

Vladimir Gronsky presented the results of an opinion poll conducted in May 2010 by ROMIR company, which demonstrated that approximately 50% of Petersburg city dwellers support Okhta Center Project.

Project Chief Architect Philipp Nikandrov told the participants of the meeting about architectural particularities of a business district, a historic context of the location where Okhta Center is planned to be built, showed the results of a landscape and visual assessment of the impact of an architectural landmark of a public and business district onto city’s panoramic views.

Alexander Bobkov advised on large-scale archeological excavations conducted at the construction site and described social and economic advantages of the project.

A documentary film called Vertical was shown to the journalists reflecting discussed aspects of the implementation of Okhta Center project.
